My Biker Babe

Well my dad has finally turned my daughter into a biker! I'm sure it didn't take much persuasion since bikers are "Very Rock Star". He took her for a few laps around the block and she was hooked!

The Livestock Show

Since Riley reeeeaaaaalllly wanted to see all the animals at the rodeo and we didn't have a chance to go through the Reliant Center to see them on Sunday...Paw Paw took us back out to the Livestock show on Tuesday. He couldn't have his baby girl upset about not seeing the animals!! So we all loaded up and went back out for a day of fun and adventure. Or as the livestock show puts it, "AGventure"! She got to pet all the animals at the petting zoo and watch a baby chick hatch from its egg (we just happened to have perfect timing on that one). She even got to be a farmer and learn about the process that fruits and veggies take from the farm to our house. Riley had a blast!

The JoBro Rodeo Show

We took Riley to her first Rodeo on Sunday. The Jonas Brothers were performing with Demi Lovato from the Disney Channel. She was so excited she could hardly stand it! It was so great to watch how much fun she was having. It was a last minute decision to go so we had to go right into the stadium when we got there because the Rodeo was about to begin and Riley really loves to watch the Bull Riding and Barrell Racing. So we didn't get a chance to walk around and look at all the livestock and the shops. But I told her that we'd come back later in the week to look at all that stuff. My First Post on the New Blog!

Okay, well I've finally decided to create a family blog. Of course it will be mostly about Riley and Mason since our lives revolve around them! Riley is four now and will be five in June. She doesn't think...SHE KNOWS she is a ROCK STAR and will correct you if you call her anything but. The word cute is not allowed in our house. You have to tell her she looks "Very Rock Star" when she's getting ready in the mornings. So you can imagine that most of her wardrobe contains lots of glitter and bling! Mason turned nine in December and is growing up to be a very handsome young man. He plays soccer on the Texas Heat boys team. Right now they are in a series to determine their bracket for the rest of the season. Alright, so I hope you all enjoy reading my blog entries from here on out...
