Kindergarten Already!?!?

Riley is officially enrolled in Kindergarten! I can't believe it! It went surprisingly smotthe. The school had stations set up for you to go through to make sure everything went quickly and efficiently. Riley got to meet some of the Kidergarten teachers and the Principal, Mrs. McBride. She will be attending Sandra Mossman Elementary this fall. We are so excited! It is a brand new school. It is part of Clear Creek ISD's Education Village, a K-12 campus. The only one of it's kind in the state of Texas! Here are a few pictures I was able to take on Kinder Round Up Day.

The Village Fair

Riley takes a tap and ballet class through her day care. They are having their recital next weekend! They did a mini performance at this year's Village Fair. They performed their ballet routine which went better than I expected. Riley has a history of stage fright so I had to do some bartering. I told her if she did her dance on the satge, she could ride some of the rides at the carnival. That seemed to be encouragin enough. She was very excited to show me that she wasn't scared anymore and she was going to "Bring It!" Well....we got there and it was chaos!! Then they had all the older girls perform first and the little ones went last. They were sitting to the side of the stage in the hot sun, getting tired and thirsty and sweaty. By the time it was their turn, they were not having it! Needless to say, she did her dance. Although at first there was a little bit of shyness. She made me proud and of course she got to ride the rides!

Which one are we gonna ride first?

The Alligator

The rumors are true! There is a gator in Clear Lake! Scott saw this huge alligator while elivering a package in an aprtment complex on his route. That weekend, he drove us out to go looking for it. We parked and walked down to the little creek that ran behind the apartments. We walked and walked and walked....then there he was!! It was huge! The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Scott's 35th birthday was on April 13th. So we all went out to dinner the Saturday before to celebrate. Then some of us went bowling afterward. We had a great time!

Like Father, Like Daughter...What else can I say?

Happy Easter!

We didn't do a whole lot for Easter this year. We woke up and hunted Easter eggs around the house and then we had lunch with Pawpaw and Gigi! Riley was so proud of the eggs she colored "all by herself".

Found One!
Look what the Easter Bunny brought me!

A Moxie Girl!!

Happy Birthday Sammy!

Riley's BEESSST Friend turned five last month. Here are some pics from her party.

First they did a little swimming...

Then it was time for cake!!

Hannah Montana Guitar-Shaped Pinata!! So cool!

Now for a little Hannah Montana Karaoke!!
It's the BEEEEST OF BOTH WOOOORLDS......
All the girls had a great time. I could hardly get Riley to go home!

A Little Catching Up To Do...

I haven't posted anything in a MONTH! I knew I would probably get behind once in a while but I didn't think I would get behind so soon after creating this blog!! The month of April flew by so fast I can't believe it's already May!! So I'm going to do a little catching up and let everyone know what we've been up to lately...
